Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Leaders of this session will discuss the collaboration between the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO) and Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT). These groups are working together on research, advocacy, and communications as part of an ongoing campaign to remediate a heavily polluted body of water. You'll hear a detailed dive into their efforts to petition the US Environmental Protection Agency for superfund assessment of the Collateral Channel in the Little Village neighborhood, including engagement with residents, local institutions, and EPA staff. You'll walk away with a greater understanding of water justice in a neighborhood context.
