This learning lab will explain the creation and implementation of Rainscaping programs in West Michigan and provide meaningful insight for implementing similar green infrastructure awareness programs in your communities. Session leaders will discuss the origins of the programs and review key aspects: volunteer training, conducting site assessments and project installation, including sharing some success stories. This session includes a deeper dive into training volunteers and conducting site assessments, complete with site examples for you to practice assessments.
